Conference Dinner
The Barbacena's Palace is a fine sample of the Portuguese Baroque which survived from 1755's Earthquake, with a seigniorial façade and roomy and fresh parlors overlaid with ornamental tiles of great historical and artistic value.
There will be an excursion on saturday, April 20, leaving IST around 2:00 pm and coming back at 7:00 pm.
The visit will start in
Sintra, a little town on the north of Lisbon, where we will visit the Palace of Pena.
Then we will drive through
Guincho (a spectacular beach) on our way to
Cascais, a former fisherman village. The tour will return to Lisbon by the end of the afternoon.
