Conference Dinner



The Conference Dinner will take place at:


Barbacena's Palace (Messe de Oficiais de Lisboa - Santa Clara Restaurant)
April 18 - 8:30 pm (see location at the map)

The Barbacena's Palace is a fine sample of the Portuguese Baroque which survived from 1755's Earthquake, with a seigniorial façade and roomy and fresh parlors overlaid with ornamental tiles of great historical and artistic value.



Saturday Afternoon Excursion


There will be an excursion on saturday, April 20, leaving IST around 2:00 pm and coming back at 7:00 pm. The visit will start in Sintra, a little town on the north of Lisbon, where we will visit the Palace of Pena. Then we will drive through Guincho (a spectacular beach) on our way to Cascais, a former fisherman village. The tour will return to Lisbon by the end of the afternoon.
