Courses

The Mathematics Department of Instituto Superior Técnico is responsible for a great number of courses in the different local undergraduate programs and supervises several graduate and undergraduate programs. This web page is an attempt at the creation of a central information point concerning those courses.

Archive search and official syllabus pages

You can search for archives created by the lecturers in charge of the courses or in web pages specially created for the course. Most such pages contain information that only applies to a specific semester, academic year, or program(s).

The search will also create connections to pages containing the official syllabus in the Department syllabus database catalogue.

Note the search is based on course names and there is the possibility of name changes and the the same name being attributed to rather distinct courses in different programs. Names in the list are either from courses directly supervised by DMIST or from courses in programs supervised by DMIST.

Fast search

In the majority of the centrally maintained Department web pages you can access a fast search interface in the top right corner. Simply choose Courses in the menu, enter the course name in the field (or its abbreviation if you happen to know it) and click the button with the >> symbols. The course abbreviations can be obtained from the menu above if you move the mouse above the list.
