The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is sponsoring a Summer School for undergraduates from July 15th to 19th as part of the New Talents in Mathematics undergraduate research program.
This year's topic is Representation Theory and the invited lecturers are Eric Sommers, Pavel Etingof and Peter Trapa.

The 2-Day Meeting on Operator Theory, Complex Analysis and Applications 2013 will take place in Guimarães, Portugal, on 15-16 July 2013.
The main objective of 2-Day OTCA 2013 is to bring together researchers working in different areas of Mathematics, namely Operator Theory, Complex Analysis and related fields, with a particular emphasis in Mathematical Physics, and to create an opportunity to highlight the current state of the art in these fields, present open problems and engage in fruitful discussions.

The Logic Colloquium 2013 (ASL European Summer Meeting) will take place for the first time in Portugal, in Évora, one of Portugal’s most beautifully preserved medieval towns, which was declared World Heritage by the UNESCO in 1986, on July 22-27, 2013.
The Logic Colloquium is the annual European conference on Logic, organised under the auspices of the Association for Symbolic Logic (ASL) and provides a forum for presenting and discussing the new developments in the area of Logic, including Mathematical logic, Computer science logic and Philosophical logic. The scientific program of the Logic Colloquium 2013 is composed of very important invited speakers including a Fields Medalist (Mathematics Nobel prize) and a CNRS Silver Medalist.
