Graduate studies

The Department of Mathematics offers programs covering a broad range of topics leading to a Doctoral Degree. Candidates are admitted to either the Doctoral Program in  Mathematics or the Doctoral Program in Statistics and Stochastic Processes. They can also choose to pursue their PhD degree in one of the international IST collaborations:

The Departments of Mathematics, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, jointly offer the Doctoral Program in Information Security.

At the Master's level, the Mathematics Department offers the Master in Mathematics and Applications, with 4 specialization profiles:

  • Probability and Mathematical Statistics

If you are interested in introductory level undergraduate courses in mathematics you can search for course archives maintained by the lecturer in the Department web servers. These usually predate archives maintained through the school Fenix system.
