Hello, welcome to my webpage!
My name is Pedro Lima and I am a portuguese mathematician. I am an associate
professor at the
Mathematics Department of Instituto Superior Tecnico, an engineering school which is
part of the University of Lisbon . I teach numerical analysis and
computational mathematics for students of engineering and applied mathematics. Information about
the courses I teach (in Portuguese):
I am a member of the Center
of Computational and Stochastic Mathematics , a research center of our University. My field of interests is wide: it
includes numerical approximation of ordinary differential equations, Volterra integral equations and functional-differential
equations (differential equations with advances and delays) .Recently I started
to investigate numerical methods for the Neural Field Equations, an important

Besides mathematics, my favourite occupation is
traveling, in my country and abroad, knowing new people and new places. I can speak and understand English,
