September 11th, 2007
This one day workshop on Mechanics and Lie Algebroids aims to bring together some of the researchers in these fields which participate in the XVI International Fall Workshop on Geometry and Physics.
The Workshop will be an informal meeting, featuring research and survey talks on recent advances in applications of Lie algebroid and Lie groupoid theory to geometric mechanics (both discrete and continuous).
Everyone is welcomed to participate in this meeting (no registration is needed). All talks will be held in Room 3.10, at the Department of Mathematics of Instituto Superior Técnico.
This meeting is supported by the Center for Mathematical Analysis, Geometry, and Dynamical Systems, a research unit funded by the Portuguese Science Foundation.
