I work as a postdoctoral fellow at: Centro de Análise Matemática, Geometria e Sistemas
Dinâmicas at IST, Lisbon, within the research group:
Noncommutative geometry, groupoids and C*-algebras. Advisor: Pedro Resende http://www.math.ist.utl.pt/~pmr. My funding is from FCT
(Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia).
I'm usually working on various interactions between category theory and non-commutative geometry especially with points of view arising from Crane's categorical quantum gravity. People not mentioned above that I should, are Paolo Bertozzini and Roberto Conti, who are doing some inspiring work on higher C*-categories.
