Iberian Peninsula Scottish Country Dance Group - Information

Group	LISBON (TELHEIRAS) SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCE GROUP
Venue	ATL Carnide Centro, Rua dos Taxis Palhinhas, Carnide, Lisbon. Underground station: Carnide or Colégio Militar
Meetings	TUESDAYS from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. (mainly beginners, but all welcome) Classes will be held every Tuesday, except for public holidays, until the summer break (July, August and September). THURSDAYS from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. (for more experienced dancers) Classes will be held every Thursday, except for public holidays, until the summer break (July, August and September).
Cost	The first lesson is free, afterwards the cost is 2 € per lesson attended. After about a month, if they want to continue, newcomers pay a 20 euros lifetime registration fee.
General Information	The group was founded in 2004 under the auspices of the Telheiras Residents' Association and is mainly made up of relative beginners.

Social Events Calendar	In March, 2011, five members of the group participated in the XVI Iberian Weekend of Scottish Country Dance in Benidorm. The next Iberian weekend will be in March 2012 in Lisbon.
