Research

My research interests broadly fall under the area of mathematical and theoretical physics

In particular, I am interested in string theory. I have done research on string theory compactifications on Calabi-Yau manifolds, and on the closely related subject of topological strings on such manifolds. I have also given several lecture courses on topological strings.

Some other research topics that I have worked on are matrix models, black hole physics, and string theory scattering amplitudes.
